I am an interdisciplinary researcher and aspiring Group Leader currently based at Saarland University. With a background spanning Pharmacy, Nanotechnology, and Biology, I specialize in the bottom-up assembly of synthetic cells and membrane biophysics.
My work bridges the gap between microfluidic engineering and biological self-assembly. Previously, I served as a Lab Manager at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, where I oversaw confocal and microfabrication facilities. My research has been supported by the European funding and the MaxSynBio consortium.
I am passionate about mentorship and teaching, having lectured at McGill University and co-supervised PhD candidates. I am currently seeking opportunities to establish an independent research group to explore the next generation of biomimetic systems.
